Earlier this December, LIFE BioCEED took part in BioFIT in Strasbourg, a major European partnering event bringing together biotech innovators, tech transfer professionals, and investors.
A highlight of the programme was joining one of the pitch sessions, where our CEO contributed as a jury member. The companies and project teams we met reflected a trend we strongly value: rigorous science paired with a clear pathway toward clinical or real-world translation. What stood out was not only the quality of the technologies, but also the level of preparation, the precision of thinking, and the ambition to build scalable solutions.
BioFIT also reinforced a core principle of the life science ecosystem: progress accelerates when the right stakeholders share the same room early. The event created space for this through structured 1:1 meetings, panel discussions, and a strong mix of academia, industry, and investors. For early-stage teams, this environment can compress months of outreach into a few days of focused, high-quality conversations, especially where tech transfer, regulatory realities, and investment expectations intersect.
For LIFE BioCEED, gatherings like BioFIT are not about visibility alone. They help us stay close to emerging innovation and identify teams ready to move from lab to market, particularly across Central & Eastern Europe, where scientific strength is high and hands-on commercialization support can be a decisive accelerator.
We were glad to be part of this year’s edition and look forward to continuing the conversations and future BioFIT editions.
